Savannah Stopover Music Festival Announces Full 2015 Lineup

Savannah Stopover Full 2015 LIneup

Savannah Stopover has announced their full 2015 lineup, and it’s looking great! The festival, which takes place March 5-7 in Savannah, Georgia’s charming downtown historic district (full schedule coming January 30th) will feature over 100 bands, including 18 local Savannah artists. Newly announced artists playing include Southern Culture On The Skids (who will be kicking the festival off at Stopover’s 5th Anniversary event on Opening Night), Computer Magic, Reptar, Donald Cumming (of The Virgins), Hiss Golden Messenger, Parlour Tricks, Rocco DeLuca, Tall Tall Trees, Fort Lean, Clear Plastic Masks, Prettiots, Jack + Eliza, Lilly Hiatt and many more.

These are in addition to the first wave of artists they announced in November, with eclectic artists like Generationals, San Fermin, ASTR, Matthew E. White, Diarrhea Planet, Fat Tony, Born Cages, Mothxr, Mainland, Christopher Paul Stelling, Reputante, and more. Tickets are available at $75 for a 3-day pass, making it one of the most affordable festival tickets that we’ve heard of this season… not to mention getting to see all these artists up close & personal, in small to mid-size venues throughout Savannah’s historic district (the largest historic district in the United States). There are also VIP tickets available for $125, or single day passes for $30 a day.

Heading into its fifth year, Stopover retains its focus on rising talents, and in past years has hosted notable artists like Grimes, of Montreal, The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Mac Demarco, Hurray For The Riff Raff, DIIV, St. Paul & The Broken Bones and hundreds of others before they broke out of the pack.

Over the three day event, festival-goers can walk from venue to venue with maximum ease throughout the festival in search of their new favorite band. The best part? Taking advantage of Savannah’s to-go beer cup policy within the city’s historic district! Sounds like a good time to us!
