Shaky Knees

Atlanta, Georgia is quickly becoming home to a number of growing festivals, but Shaky Knees has proved that it’s here to stay. With the past three bills boasting talent like Brand New, The Strokes, Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, among others, there was no question that this year’s lineup would be any different. This year’s Shaky Knees Music Fest will take place on May 13th-15th at Centennial Olympic Park & International Plaza in downtown Atlanta–and it is not a festival you want to miss! This year’s lineup is arguably the most impressive to date, with performances by At The Drive In, Deftones, The 1975, Bloc Party, The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket, Jane’s Addiction (performing Ritual de lo Habitual), and so many more.

Deftones’ forthcoming album is slated to be released in April, so good news for the lucky attendees. This release preceding Shaky Knees means we can, more than likelyexpect to not only hear classics, but some of their new tracks as well! Including Deftones and the other headlining acts, there will be over 75 bands performing across 5 different stages throughout the weekend–and it just got better!

SlowDive, Deer Tick, Lany, Craig Finn (Of The Hold Steady), and  The Japanese House have all been added to this year’s already massive lineup! Check out the official confirmed 2016 Shaky Knees Music Fest lineup below:

The lineup by day  has been released and Single Day General Admission Tickets ($97) and Single Day VIP tickets ($250) went on sale last week, so don’t wait up!  Advanced General Admission 3-Day Tickets ($215) as well as Advanced VIP 3-Day Tickets ($614) are also available. Kids 10 and under are welcome in the festival for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

It’s no surprise that Shaky Knees has experienced such tremendous growth in just four years. With a stacked lineup that gets better each year, an awesome food truck selection, cocktails, and a great, remote location, Shaky Knees Music Fest should be a no-brainer.
