Treasure Island Music Festival (TIMF) in a new partnership with Funny Or Die recently announced the Festival’s comedy lineup for their first ever comedy tent taking place October 17-18 in San Francisco. For the inaugural year of TIMF’s comedy tent, entitled The Blah Blah Blah and co-curated by Funny Or Die, the Festival has lined up an amazing roster of talent, featuring notable stand-ups, unique variety shows and popular podcasts.
Among The Blah Blah Blah comedy tent performers on Saturday, October 17 are Tim Heidecker, one hilarious half of the comedy team of Tim & Eric; Jonah Ray, co-host of the popular Nerdist Podcast and The Meltdown on Comedy Central; John Dore; Hey™: An Afternoon with Kate Berlant and John Early; Max Silvestri; Barry Rothbart; and Jermaine Fowler, who recently landed a new CBS comedy project written by and starring Fowler.
The comedy will continue on Sunday, October 18 at The Blah Blah Blah with Jerrod Carmichael, who created and stars in the new NBC series The Carmichael Show; Chris Gethard; a live taping of the podcast With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus; a live podcast of Throwing Shade with Erin Gibson and Bryan Safi; Guy Branum Presents: Talk Show: The Game Show; Michelle Wolf; and an encore performance from Jermaine Fowler.
In addition to the comedy, Treasure Island Music Festival has an incredible music lineup slated for the two-day Fest with no overlapping sets during this memorable weekend in the San Francisco Bay. Saturday’smusic includes Deadmau5, FKA twigs, Big Grams, STS9, Run The Jewels, Gorgon City (Live), Hudson Mohawke and more. Music sets on Sunday include The National, Chvrches, The War On Drugs, Father John Misty, Panda Bear, Jose Gonzalez, Deerhunter, Drive Like Jehu, and more.
