MAKJ & Max Styler Release “Knock Me Down”

Music geniuses MAKJ and Max Styler have once again released a new masterpiece, “Knock Me Down.” This song contrasts metallic trap synths with melodic soundscapes. It also features the gorgeous vocals of Elayna Boynton who is known for her collaboration with Grammy Award-winning Anthony Hamilton in their song, “Freedom.” This powerful melody was in the “Django Unchained” movie’s soundtrack. About MAKJ

MAKJ, Mackenzie Johnson, realized his talent and passion for DJing and mixing at a very young age. When he was only fifteen, he had already claimed the title of a respected producer as he constantly demonstrated his innovative and creative musical talents. By seventeen, he perfected his skills with the help of DJ AM, an iconic turntablist.

He is famous for his collaboration with Lil Jon in the world-wide hit, “Let’s Get F*cked Up.” The popularity of this single earned several iTunes Dance Top 10’s. He also landed two consecutive spots on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list.




In addition, MAKJ has also performed at some of the most prestigious music festivals in the world. Some of these festivals  include Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra, and EDC. He also hosts a show on SiriusXM Radio called “Revolution Radio” for three years running. Lastly, the release of his collaborated single with Internet star and rocker Andrew W.K, “Party Til We Die,” earned him praise from around the world. Even Rolling Stone and Pitchfork awarded him critical acclaim. In addition to the release of “Knock Me Down,” he is currently working on his first album, which should be released soon.

About Max Styler

Max Styler, who is the other creative half behind “Knock Me Down,” is a 21-year old phenomenon. With his debut album “Heartache” and his popular remix of Breath Carolina’s “Echo (Let Go),” his work is taking the industry by storm. His unique and  game-changing style of blending trap with future bass explains his success. Influential publications such as LA Weekly, DJ Mag, and Dancing Astronaut praised “Heartache.” They raved that it “demonstrated his flair for futuristic flavor, haunting vocal samples, and multifaceted sonic textures.”

Styler also recently released a remix for the album’s title track. It features standout reworks from MERCE, SMLE, and Taiki Nulight. Moreover, the young DJ erupted in 2016 as a incredible live performer when he celebrated Dim Mak’s 20th Anniversary at Wet Republic in Las Vegas. His festival premiere was also last year Electric Zoo in New York.

Max Styler has already released a single  in 2017, “Roller Coaster,” with Monstercat and Dirty Audio. This popular hit has earned a spot as #3 on Beatport’s Hip-Hop chart.
