Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion, AKA the Mid-Atlantic’s Biggest Rock Festival, has announced the lineup of festival experiences, as well as major details for the expanded Pig Out BBQ Village. The WHAT?!?, you ask? The Pig Out BBQ Village.
After selling out in advance in 2015, with a record-setting 80,000 fans in attendance, Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion has expanded to three full days in 2016, featuring the best of today’s rock along with legendary classic artists playing on four stages, the expanded Pig Out BBQ Village, and premium camping facilities. May 6, 7, and 8, at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC is sure to be filled with rock music, bangin’ food, and experiences you won’t soon forget.
The expanded Pig Out BBQ Village will feature Gourmet Man Food that reflects the cuisine of the region and the cultural food explosion that is happening around the country. Gourmet Man Food (“GMF”) has been part of American culture since pioneers started experimenting with their cowboy menus to “kick things up a notch.” Since then, it’s become a phenomenon of artistically created, statement-making food, served in large portions with a powerful presentation. The 2016 Pig Out BBQ lineup includes: Angry Bird Grill, Aporkalypse Now, Cheese Louise, Cravin’ Cajun, Mac Attack, Master Of Patties, Ollie’s Tots, Porchetta, and Queencity Q. VIP Lounge Gourmet Man Food vendors include Chicago Taste Authority, Flip Flop Rob’s BBQ, Island Noodles, Little Smoke, Pie Baby, and What’s The Catch.

The sixth annual Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion will feature performances from over 50 top rock artists including Disturbed, Scorpions, Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Deftones, Lynrd Skynrd, A Day to Remember, 3 Doors Down, Alice Cooper, Bring Me the Horizon, Cypress Hill, Pennywise, Lamb of God, and many others. In addition to music and towers of pork-filled food, Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion will offer multiple onsite experiences including the ultimate fan and artist interactive experiences hosted by f.y.e., a party hosted by Bud Light, and the Music Experience. The Music Experience features all the elements that are involved in making music in a professional band setting. The interactive exhibit features guitars, basses, amps, drums, keyboards, and electronic gear that are used by today’s most popular bands.
