With festival season upon us, Electric Island music festival has announced the dates of its sixth season of the concert and picnic series. Hanlan’s Point of the Toronto Islands is set to host yet another year of island paradise parties, some of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
The dance music event features both local artists as well as some of the world’s most sought-after acts. In previous years, Electric Island has been host to tastemakers such as Ben Klock, Sasha, Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, and Sven Väth among many others in the electronic scene.
Electric Island is scheduled to fall on each Canadian long-weekend throughout the summer months. This year’s dates have been reserved for Sundays, offering attendees a rest day before heading back to work. The five-part series will begin Sunday, May 20th (Victoria Day weekend), followed by Sunday, July 1st (Canada Day weekend), Saturday, August 11th, Sunday, September 2nd and Monday, September 3rd for Labour Day weekend

This year’s season passes will be sold for $139.99 + HST which grants you access to all five events. Season passes are available for purchase here. Please note that ferry tickets are not included and must be purchased separately.
