February 28th, 2017 – Lido’s Messiah Remix
Artist, electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist Lido has taken his unique style and sound and remixed Alison Wonderland X M-Phazes’ single, “Messiah.” The hypnotic, pulsating dance track – which already has nearly 2.5 million streams – lends itself perfectly to Lido’s touch. Though the intro mirrors elements of Alison Wonderland’s original, a slight signature arpeggio and Lido’s voice let the listener know they are in for a treat, with a remix that leaps out of speakers and builds to a massive crescendo with some signature Lido-style chords.
Lido adds, “Alison is one of my best friends in the whole world. We met three years ago and she’s had my back ever since. We even lived together for a little while. As soon as she played me ‘Messiah’ I knew I had to put my spin on it and it was torture keeping the song on the hush for so long. I guess she felt similarly about ‘Crazy’ so this is the most organic remix-swap of all time!”
In the last year and a half, Lido boasts a dizzying list of accomplishments, including a completely sold-out U.S. tour, producing credits for Chance the Rapper and A$AP Ferg, executive production on Halsey’s Badlands, and released his own debut album, Everything, which features vocals from Jaden Smith, Vic Mensa and others. The album’s lead single, “Crazy” melts Daft Punk heat into Zapp & Roger talkbox magic, with Peder blasting his signature rising, HudMo-style chords. When Lido asked Alison Wonderland to remix “Crazy,” she jumped at the opportunity.

Alison Wonderland Album & Tour Information
Wonderland is currently working on the follow-up to her breakthrough debut album, Run, which entered Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart at No. 1. It also topped the iTunes Top Electronic Albums chart in the U.S. and the album chart in her native Australia. Wonderland will be coming to the U.S. this spring. She will open for The Chainsmokers at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on June 9, perform at the Shaky Beats and Electric Forest festivals and play a series of Las Vegas club dates.
