Los Angeles based, Texas native Chelsea Lankes has just released a new track, “Down for Whatever” now available to stream on Soundcloud. This is Lankes’s third single of a series of soft rock-infused pop records with a kiss of retro synth. A quick overview of her work will find a lineup of tracks ranging from bouncy afternoon sounds to a late-night sense of melancholic adventurousness.

“Down for Whatever,” which premiered on DIY Magazine today and is expecting a vinyl release through B3SCI Records come March, has been described as capturing “the sound of modern day youth and the eager desire to live in the moment.” Chelsea Lankes is making her live debut at the Neon Gold pop shop in NYC later this month.
