New Coldplay Video Honors History of American Immigrants

Coldplay and Big Sean Official Lyrics Video – Miracles (Someone Special)

British rock band, Coldplay, and American rapper, Big Sean, debuted the lyric video for the track, “Miracles (Someone Special).” This is one the tracks featured on their five-song Kaleidoscope EP.

Ben Mor directed the video who also directed the band’s Hymn For The Weekend clip. Miracles honors America’s history of welcoming immigrants from around the world. The video includes memorable photos from the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Kaleidoscope EP is out now to download and stream worldwide. Physical CDs and the vinyl version of the EP will be available this Friday, August 4. It is also available to listen on Spotify and Apple Music/iTunes.

Coldplay and Big sean collaborated with Rik Simpson, Daniel Green as well as Bill Rahko to produce the EP. Additionally, a new live version of Coldplay’s hit single with the Chainsmokers, “Something Just Like This,” from Tokyo in April, is featured as a track.

A L I E N S was co-written by Brian Eno, and co-produced by Eno, Rik Simpson and Markus Dravs. One hundred percent of the proceeds from A L I E N S will be donated to the Migrant Offshore Aid Station. MOAS is an international NGO, which rescues migrants and refugees in peril at the Mediterranean sea. Coldplay is a supporter of this charity.

The EP is the sister release to the band’s renowned A Head Full Of Dreams album, which has sold more than 5 million copies since its release in December 2015. The new songs featured on Kaleidoscope were recorded in the band’s on-the-road studio during their last tour.

The band will continue the a Head Full Of Dreams Tour in North America in the upcoming months. Recently, Coldplay added new tour dates in Brazil and Argentina this November.
