Le Galaxie

Le Galaxie "Day of Child"

One of Ireland’s top live electronic bands, Le Galaxie, made their way into the U.S. this month with their new single, “Day Of The Child.” The new track is driven by synth leads to make the dance floor go crazy. Listen to the track here. Le Galaxie was called, “…Architects of exuberant electropop…” by The Irish Times. Just a few months from now in April, the band is set to release their third studio album, Pleasure, through Red River Entertainment.

Pleasure

Le Galaxie’s new album was recording in their Dublin studio with Swedish ultra producer, Blende. Pleasure highlights the band’s evolution from purveyors of dance floor bangers to creators of well-crafted songs. It is Le Galaxie’s dream of a truly great studio record made manifest. The titular first single, “Pleasure” was teased in 2017. This dance pop track features vocals from May Kay. The band views their album as their new body of work to be enjoyed in headphones to dance floors with laser lit ceilings of venues and festivals across Ireland, Europe and beyond.

The band includes Michael Pope, Dave McGloughlin, Alistair Higgins, Anthony Hyland and May Kay Gegharty. They will make their way across the Atlantic to make two appearances during SXSW at the Velvet Room on March 15 as well as the Full Irish Breakfast event at D.B. Riley’s on March 16.
