THE MAVERICKS SOAR ATOP AMERICANA AIRPLAY CHART

Grammy-Winning Band’s MONO Takes the Lead Once Again

Exhibiting an eclectic musical fusion, THE MAVERICKS are once again helmed atop the Americana Airplay Charts with MONO (The Valory Music Co.). This marks a second week at #1 for the critically-acclaimed project, which elicited rave reviews from Rolling Stone Country touting them as “Country’s coolest, most versatile band” and Billboard proclaiming, “it’s big, bold and still stands out next to anything coming from Nashville.” Vintage Guitar declared that “they’ve caught lightning in a bottle yet again.”

The Mavericks debuted two of the new tracks with national television appearances on NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers (“All Night Long”) and TBS’ Conan (“Summertime (When I’m With You)).”

While their latest offering is leading the charge at Americana radio, the Grammy-winning troupe has trekked across the globe on their MONO MUNDO TOUR visiting 32 cities in 15 states and four provinces. The talented foursome (frontman Raul Malo, guitarist Eddie Perez, keyboardist Jerry Dale McFadden and drummer Paul Deakin) and their “Fantastic Four” backing musicians kicked off dates with a triumphant swing through Europe, where they performed in the U.K., France, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. Upcoming stateside stops include headlining shows and festivals like the Strawberry Festival, the Doheny Blues Festival and the Clearwater Festival as well as a stint in Canada.
