For three days in June, Poble Espanyol will once again become the capital for music lovers as the world-famous OFFSónar Series commences! Year-over-year this festival continues to grow in size and popularity. It is now established as one of Europe’s most well-known music festivals. Each year the Catalonian city of Poble Espanyol is flooded by thousands of music fans from all over Europe. These fans come to indulge their passion for dance music and to hear what the future sounds like. Sonar official is constantly on the pulse of the current electronic music landscape. Sónar Week in Barcelona

OFFSónar falls within Sónar Week in Barcelona which officially begins June 12th. The city will become an unparalleled stage for international contemporary culture. A wide range of activities and artistic formats will take place throughout its different cultural spaces.

Poble Espanyol

Poble Espanyol (“Spanish Town”) is an open-air architectural museum in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Built nearly a century ago for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition, the museum consists of 117 buildings which replicate Spanish villages.

Party-goers escape the heat and hustle of the city in this unique and intimate environment. Perched on a hill the museum offers stunning panoramic views of Barcelona among striking architecture. The three event spaces within the venue offer vastly different experiences. The atmosphere ranges from the airy Carpa & Picnic area situated at the crest of the hill, and Plaza Mayor’s expansive town square, to the intimate 2000 El Monasterio.

DETROIT LOVE

Inspired by a city rich in music culture, ‘Detroit Love’ in a new concept from Carl Craig. This event features a Detroit focused line-up to showcase the sublime talent that Detroit has to offer. Designed to bring together and support the sounds of Detroit and take a little of the techno brotherhood to clubs and festivals the world over.

Buckle up for the festival’s kick-off event; assembling the titan of house and techno, Moodymann, Omar-S, Octave One, Kyle Hall and Idriss D. For decades this lineup of legends has been redefining and reshaping the musical landscape.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC

Marco Carola returns to Barcelona to host another stellar roster from the It’s All About The Music family for an intimate event. The Barcelona-native and pillar of the techno community, Paco Osuna, will be joined by the trio Shonky, Dan Ghenacia, and Dyed Soundorom. The seamless back-to-back-to-back DJing group will perform under their nickname Apollonia. The four rising talents: Leon, Joey Daniel, Neverdogs, and Anna Tur help to round out this lineup. Finally, the master of ceremonies Marco Carola unleashed the sleek minimal techno he is famed for.

KNEE DEEP

Meteoric DJ and producer Hot Since 82 brings his acclaimed label Knee Deep in Sound to host an exclusive OFFSónar party in the lush Carpa & Picnic Area of Poble Espanyol. This label is revered for its glittering lineups and blistering sets. Expect the energetic DJ to reinforce those accolades with assistance from three colossal back-to-back sets featuring Kölsch b2b Tiga, Cassy b2b Heidi, Butch b2b Josh Wink and a performance from Cocoon’s La Fleur.

TRIP

Nina Kraviz’ label ТРИП (pronounced Trip) has locked in a stunning array of selectors for the event. Monstrous techno man DJ Rush, Shadowax, and Steve O’Sullivan are joined by label mates Deniro and Bjarki.

ELROW

Globally-acclaimed immersive entertainment brand elrow is also on the roster this season. Their award-winning carnival-style parties offer something truly special to this festival. The event will take place in the grand surroundings of Poble Espanyol’s Plaza Mayor. The flagship theme of Singermorning is one of the brand’s most vibrant and fan-fuelled shows. Fans eagerly await the release of the lineup for this event.

SECRETSUNDAZE

Returning for something of a victory lap, Secretsundaze cements their reputation as an OFFSónar institution and the finest party purveyors on a worldwide scale. Expect a meticulous selection of the most inspired classics that promote inclusivity on the dancefloor and cater to wide-ranging tastes. This selection brought to you by Joy Orbison, Antal, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Lakuti and an unmissable back-to-back set from Funkineven b2b Byron The Aquarius.

DRUMCODE

Expect a day party of staggering proportions at the Drumcode event. Festival head-honcho and the undisputed pioneer of modern techno, Adam Beyer will join forces with Joseph Capriati for an exclusive back-to-back set. Other stars from the lineup include Boxia, Marco Farone, Matador, Pan-Pot, Sam Paganini, and more.

WOOMOON

An unmissable party brought by Ibiza-born concept WooMooN. The special event spans both El Monasterio and Carpa & Picnic Area to blur the lines between art, performance, and music. The fittingly impressive lineup matches their growing reputation. Legendary tastemaker Damian Lazarus and the duo BLOND:ISH and Rampue are just a few of the insanely talented artists that fill the roster.

INTERVISIONS

The big finale this year is brimming with electronic music heavyweights. OFFSónar plays host to an Innervisions party unlike no other. The cutting-edge label is slated to take over all three spaces at Poble Espanyol, for the first time ever in the venue’s history. The likes of Ben UFO, Dixon, Jamie xx, Avalon Emerson and Gerd Janson guarantee genre-spanning sets. Henrik Schwarz, Floating Points, Job Jobse, Âme, and many other headliners are equally unmissable on the impressive lineup.
