Pilgrimage Fest Collaborates with Justin Timberlake

Once again, Justin Timberlake, the world-famous musician and actor, expanded his position in the music industry. Recently, he signed on as a partner and producer of the wonderful Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival. Scheduled for September 24-25, the highly anticipated festival will take place at The Park At Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN. The venue will be transformed into an oasis of incredible music, delicious food, and a colorful array of culture. The Harlinsdale Farm, a former horse farm, is located in a beautifully natural setting.

Raised in the great city of Memphis, Tennessee, Justin Timberlake has a deep connection with the southern state. Therefore, by participating as producer, he will reconnect with his childhood roots.

The music legend talks about his enthusiasm with his participation in the festival. He quotes, “I couldn’t be more excited about becoming part of The Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival. Being a Tennessee native and now a member of the community in Franklin, I have been watching the development of the festival over the past two years. For me, this is an amazing opportunity to help build an exceptional event and contribute to my community.”

Franklin resident and Justin Timberlake’s creative director, Trace Ayala, also agrees with the singer’s sentiments. She says, “Being a resident of Leiper’s Fork and the Franklin community, I’m thrilled to have this event right here in my own backyard! As Justin’s creative director, I’m looking forward to putting our stamp on this thing! It’ll also serve as a great stage to showcase the artists we’ve signed to our artist development company, Villa 40.”

Kevin Griffin, Brandt Wood, and Michael Whelan, are all the original Pilgrimage Festival producers. They will also work closely with Timberlake and Ayala on the creative direction on the coming event. However, despite his producing and creative contributions, the artist will not perform at this year’s event.

Kevin Griffin, one of Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival’s co-founders, shares his feelings about the new alliance with Timberlake. “It really is a perfect fit to have Justin on board as a partner not only for his knowledge and accomplishments in the music industry but also his love for the Tennessee area…We are looking forward to introducing new fans to Pilgrimage and to the music, food, and culture of the southern region.”

More About Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival

The highly anticipated festival is about to embark on its second year after an amazingly successful premiere last year. In fact, Rolling Stone Magazine praised the event as having”established itself as a festival to watch.”

Clearly, expectations are high after Pilgrimage’s inaugural year. However, with this year’s incredible lineup,  the festival not only fulfilled, but exceeded them. Headliners set to perform include Beck, John Oates, Daryl Hall, Jason Isbel, and Kacey Musgraves. Other artists who will #MakeThePilgrimage include Kaleo, the Strumbellas, Shakey Graves, and many more. Additionally, the festival will host Pilgri-mashups, where special pairings of musicians perform with each other live on stage and on Kimbro’s Pickin’ Parlor stage featuring local artists.

The Franklin based festival is also family friendly, as it will feature famous children’s music artists and engaging activities throughout the weekend. Kids under the age of 10 accompanied by an adult GA  will also get in for free!!!

The exciting lineup and family activities are not the only things to look forward to. There will also be a plethora of vendors selling the region’s best food and drinks. There will also be various local artisans and artists who will complete the immersive experience.
