Nominated for DJ Mag Best of North America, Seismic Dance Event is to take place November 16th and 17th in Austin, Texas at Warehouse 305.
The two day festival presented by RealMusic Events is already 70% sold out according to their social media updates. With the lineup featuring many notable names in the electronic music industry, it would not be surprising for the event to sell out.
RealMusic Events
While this will be the second year for the festival, this isn’t RealMusic Events’ first large scale event with impressive talent. RealMusic Events has set the bar high and consistently exceeded expectations with their history of bringing in international headliners and ground breaking lineups.
Last year Seismic featured Tinlicker, Green Velvet, Mikey Lion with a Desert Hearts stage takeover, Sacha Robotti, Duke Dumont, Armand Ven Helden, Claptone, Weiss, Codes, Justin Jay, SNBRN, Codes, Amtrac, and Lane 8 just to name a few. Their New Year’s Eve party titled “Era” had Nero, Feed Me, Dombresky, and Rrotik to bring in 2019.
The Texas production company curates monthly and weekly events for the Austin electronic music community. They have been bringing some of the best names since 2003 and from the looks of it not stopping any time soon.
“Our mission is to quench our own musical thirsts while promoting the growth & evolution of the ATX dance music scene through the production of high quality shows with high quality artists.”
On this year’s Seismic lineup two rarely seen side projects will be present; Eric Prydz’s Cirez D and Deadmau5’s Testpilot. These two names present on a bid are not to be looked over, as both are well established in the music industry, respected for their master production skills, and innovative stage designs.
Stages
The two stages coined Volcano and Tsunami are to feature world class stage production. The Volcano stage is where Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz are to headline with their side projects.
Testpilot has been announced for the headliner on Saturday and Cirez D for Sunday. The Tsunami stage is to feature the Austin skyline in the background while attendees immerse themselves in the music.
As the festival date approaches RealMusic Events will release which artists are to perform on which day and ticket prices will increase. Follow them on their social media to stay up to date with Seismic Event 2.0.
Tickets
Tickets for the festival can be purchased here and are already at tier 2 pricing. Single day and two day tickets are available. As stated at the beginning of this article, tickets for Seismic Dance Event are moving quickly and anticipating to sell out.
