Rock Carnival returns in its second year with an incredible lineup that boast some of the best artists in entertainment. The festival is scheduled for September 30 through October 2nd. Visitors will enjoy its new location at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ: the home of the Lakewood Blue Claws.
In its debut year alone, the Rock Carnival attracted an impressive 50,000 people. Like last year, this year’s festival will host classic amusement rides and entertainment, action packed Professional Wrestling and delicious food from amazing food trucks, and an assortment of beers. Obviously, that is not all a guest should expect to enjoy at Rock Carnival. Visitors will enjoy local, national, and international rock music shows. Additionally, the venue’s new location will offer more space for the large crowds and a children’s fun zone! The whole family can expect to have a blast!
Rock Carnival is excited to announce the lineup schedule. This includes Friday’s headliner, rock legend Alice Cooper, and Saturday’s Twisted Sister performance. This will be Twisted Sister’s official tri-state farewell performance. Daughtry, featuring American Idol’s Chris Daughtry, will be a highly anticipated event.
Updates to this already exciting lineup include Life of Agony, Sebastian Bach, Jim Breur and the Loud & Rowdy, Punky Meadows, and 10 years. Do NOT miss this guaranteed memorable experience the festival has to offer!
Music performances will be on several stages, with two main stages next to each other on the field. Guests will have general admission to entry of the stadium field. Another stage includes the Birch Hill stage, and another that will host up-and-coming artists.
Rock Carnival will debut its “Classic” Friday night celebration, which will host tributes to classic rock legends. Almost Queen will play Queen favorites, while Zakk Sabbath will tribute to Black Sabbath. Zakk Sabbath features vocalist/guitarist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (ex-Queens Of The Stone Age).
