Say Goodbye To Leefest & Hello To Neverworld 2018

The team behind LeeFest are creating a new, exciting and immersive experience for the Kent countryside next August. Neverworld is a step up from a traditional festival. It will be a kingdom of music, party and wonder. There will be three realms and 11 stages designed to encourage a childlike sense of exploration and discovery. The festival will be an intimate experience limited to 5,000 festival-goers and 250 renowned and upcoming artists performing throughout the weekend.

2017 marks the final year for the much-loved LeeFest. Hence, 2018 will see a very exciting new chapter emerge for its creators and fans.

Throughout the Neverworld weekend, festival-goers will be encouraged to join one of three tribes before beginning the adventure into their wildest dreams.

The Lost Boys. The Mermaids. The Pirates.

LeeFest

LeeFest’s from previous years have proven its organizer’s talent for quality musical programming. It has helped launched the careers of many of today’s big names including London Grammar, Bastille and Years & Years. Those names have won many industry awards including ‘Best Grassroots Festival’ and ‘Best Independent Festival’.

Of course LeeFest has left a legacy, but Neverworld promises to raise the bar once more across a wealth of music and mixed arts stages. With that promise, Lee Denny’s organization moves it’s focus to creating fully fledged immersive worlds.

Neverworld

Festival-goers can join The Lost Boys in The Neverwoods that will host some of the hottest new names in music. The Neverwoods are accompanied with epic venues The Fortress and The Circus. There will be a workshop and family program in The Native Encampment. Mermaids Lagoon will deliver the finest garage, house and disco in a lavish, sun drenched 1980’s Miami setting. It will feature 100 tons of sand on The Beach and a 24 hour dag bar, The Rainbow Rooms, where anything goes. Fans that enjoy the piractical persuasion should head to Skull Ridge with The Pirates for their late night antics. While there, you can visit The Goldmine; a disused mine converted with 8 stacks of funktion for bass-music-lovers. There will even be details about the Baz Luhrmann style take on Peter Pan revealed as the event begins to build.

Founder Lee Denny states his excitement about the unveiling of Neverworld.

“The story of LeeFest and its origins in my back garden all those years ago was the seed for something incredible, but it’s time for the next chapter. When we started this crazy adventure we did so by pushing personal boundaries and creating something awesome for our friends. However, now the story is much bigger than us.  As the LeeFest community has snowballed, so have our ambitions. Instead of just a festival, we want to build a whole new world for our community to thrive in. A world that encourages growth and creativity. Discover your inner Pirate, Mermaid or Lost Boy. Welcome to Neverworld; a place you never have to grow old!”

Neverworld takes place on August 2nd-5th, 2018 in Hever, Kent. Tickets are available NOW. Buy yours here.
