Snowbombing Music Festival is returning for its 18th celebration in the snowy Alps on April 3-8, 2017. It is hosted in Mayrhofen, Austria which is considered ‘the party capital of the Alps.’ The festival was also the winner of the “Best Small Festival” at the 2017 European Festival awards! Music will play 24 hours a day across 17 venues.Clearly, this event is a must for anyone who loves to party to great music.
The organizers of the epic Snowbombing Music Festival just released a limited number of wristband-only passes! For the only £239 (approximately $254), music lovers can enjoy 4 days of incredible music and entertainment.

The Snowbombing Experience
The festival is considered one of the best for a reason. Not only does it offer visitors incredible music in a gorgeous location, but also hosts various events and activities that sets Snowbombing apart from other festivals. Luckily, the event creates a giant igloo where music lovers can enjoy sets from some of the best DJ’s in the world at the Smirnoff Arctic Disco. Legends that will perform in this one-of-a-kind venue include Gorgon City, Disciples, Redlight, DJ Yoda and Super Hans at the Arctic Disco.
Join a Freakshow Road Trip!
Hans Von Hofen’s Freakadelic Circus is inviting visitors to join contortionists, bearded ladies, ringmasters, and other ‘circus freaks’ to join Europe’s biggest festival road trip across the continent with the final destination at Snowbombing.
Join the Bronx Street Party!
The annual Snowbombing Street Party is yet another event that cannot be missed. The Elrow Bronx Street Party is a magical experience where the town of Mayrhofen is transformed into the Bronx neighborhood in New York City. The festival brings to life the Bronx’s colorful culture of Break Dance, Mafioso, Graffiti, and Hip-Hop. Additionally, magically costumed entertainers will weave their way through the snowy party.
Participate in ‘Voga!’
Voga is a special music-inspired fusion of yoga and voguing (the Madonna dance) . Guests can relax, bend, stretch, and flex to up-beat 80’s music in the ‘House of Voga.’
Travel Back in Time to the 90’s!
Everyone misses the 90’s, and at Snowbombing you can return! Pat Sharp, the adored 90’s TV host, will bring his FunHaus to this year’s festival! Daft as Punk, Noasis, and the Antarctic Monkeys will play classics in a Bavarian beer garden. Mr. Motivator will also host 90’s style fitness classes. Additionally, visitors can visit Eddie the Eagle, Peep Show’s Super Hans, and more!
Rooftop Hot Tub and Luxury Spas Galore
Mayrhofen is famous for its incredible amenities as well as its gorgeous scenery. Guests will have the opportunity to relax in rooftop jacuzzis with amazing views, take a Thalasso, get pampered in a spa, enjoy a massage, or unwind in a Hammam.
Show Off at a Dance Off!

The festival proudly hosts Europe’s steepest slope, which is a daunting 78° incline! There is also 650M of untouched pistes at ski runs such as the Hinterlux Glacier, Penken Park, and the boarders playpen. Of course, all have gorgeous views of the mountains.
A Pool Party in The Snow!!
Although it is hard to believe, Snowbombing also hosts a pool party! Not to worry, the snow will not get in the way as the celebration takes place in an indoor heated pool. It is also equipped with rapids, hot tubs, waterfalls, and a plethora of inflatables! This year’s soiree will feature performances by Solardo Sessions, Jamie Roy, Doorly, and more!
Participate in The Leder-Hoedown!
At the traditional yet twisted Austrian party, guests will get to show off their best lederhosen at the special “Leder-Hoedown.” This unique event includes food from the local legend Hans the Butcher, a soundtrack of a traditional oompah band, Zell Brass and resident DJ’s on pop up stages!
