Founded in 2012, Sunset Music Festival has become a staple to its home of Tampa, Florida and its venue, Raymond James Stadium. What started as a single-day event grew into a two-day extravaganza in 2014 with over 50,000 attendees. Festival promoters Disco Donnie Presents, Sunset Events, and Committee Entertainment recently announced that the two day festival will take place May 23 and 24, 2015. Early bird tickets are now on sale, and you can pick one up for a little over one hundred dollars for GA.
DDP, Sunset Events, and Committee Events have hosted many international names in the past — including David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Markus Schulz, Knife Party, Carnage, Krewella and Ferry Corsten. And last year, the warmth of Tampa, FL was matched by the heat brought from top-billers Zedd, Hardwell, Krewella, Benny Benassi, Adventure Club, David Heartbreak, DJ Snake, Tommy Trash and more — all who unleashed their arsenal of barraging dance anthems for a 48-hour marathon in 2014.
In 2015, SMF returns for its fourth year, and the Sunset crew is gearing up for their biggest year yet. Anticipating 60,000+ attendees over two days, Sunset has already recruited some of electronic dance music’s brightest stars for another massive outing. While the line-up still remains under wraps, rest assured that this year’s road-trip worthy line-up will hold more surprises than ever before.
There will be some changes in the ticketing policy this year, as they will be sending out wristbands ahead of the festival (vs. picking them up at the gate). This not only kills lines at the gate, it also allows you to register your wristband so that you can take advantage of some of the magic stuff it can do.
All wristbands are shipped in advance to the address you provide on your account at the time of purchase. The shipping process is known as “Fulfillment.” All the tickets you purchase on your account will be sent to one address (so if you buy tickets for friends, they will come to your address). All orders will be sent via US Postal Service.
Once your wristbands ships, you’ll receive a tracking email from the festival. Wristbands will be shipped in waves, so don’t worry if you don’t receive yours right away. All wristbands will be shipped by the beginning of May. If you purchase a festival ticket after the cut off date, you’ll pick it up at Wristband Pick Up at the Main Gate.
