The incredible SXM Festival is excited to announce its return on March 15-19, 2017. This unique and exclusive festival is returning to the picturesque shores of Saint Martin. This is an island located in the gorgeous Caribbean.
The festival premiered earlier this year with a bang. It offered a new spin on the direction that the global House and Techno community is moving. SXM offered a fresh taste for House and Techno fans who were searching for a new special event to add to the international party calendar. This year’s visitors were offered a sample of paradise. They enjoyed stunning ocean views, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, and intimate jungle festivities. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to explore unique and diverse local culture on the island.
A glimpse of the gorgeous location
Aside from the outstanding location, SXM’s main focus is hosting meaningful aspects of the electronic music scene. By doing so, the festival’s organizers hope to make SXM a global contender for one of the world’s best dance festivals. Because of the event’s dedication to incorporating purposeful music into the itinerary, the 2016 lineup included a remarkable list of electronic music artists. These exceptional artists included Apollonia, M.A.N.D.Y, Audiofly, BLOND:ISH, Maher Daniel, Thugfucker, Mia Lucci, DJ Tennis, Bedouin, H.O.S.H, Adriatique, Maceo Plex, Ryan Crosson, Guy Gerber, Danny Daze, Gardens of God, Rebolledo, Chaim, and more!
One of the festival’s organizers, Julian Prince, quoted his excitement over the success of this SXM’s premier this year. He quotes, “following an incredible inaugural event in March this year, thrilled does not even come close to describing how excited we are to launch our second edition. Having entertained over two and a half thousand of underground electronic music’s elite this year with insane parties on beaches, jungles, rooftops, villas and the best venues on the island, plans are rapidly taking shape to blow our 2016 event out of the water.”
Prince also emphasized that 2017 promises bigger and better lineups, more VIP events, and even more parties. Additionally, these festivities will take place on land, sea, and beyond!

SXM Festival also released the after movie from the 2016 event. It depicts a beautiful assortment of music venues and secluded forest vantages. It also shows a variety of opportunities to immerse in the St. Martin’s exuberant culture.
