Symbiosis gathering

Symbiosis Gathering, a multifaceted lakeside music and arts event, today premiered a fourteen episode web series showcasing the unique talents of members of the Symbiosis community. The ‘We Are Symbiosis’ series is a first of its kind festival media project, paving the way for how gatherings communicate both within and outside of their community.

The first four videos from the series feature sustainability education pioneer Jonathan Youtt, botanist Brian Wallace, Kundalini yoga instructor Naomi Charanpal, and tattoo artist Philip Milic. Philip Milic is also an instructor for the Elemental Alchemy Visionary Arts program and designed this year’s Symbiosis Gathering ticket artwork. These subjects represent thought leaders in the Symbiosis community, a true exposé of the forward-thinking creative components of the event.

The ‘We Are Symbiosis’ miniseries was filmed and directed by Noah Hussin whose documentary America Recycled was recently awarded ‘Best US Feature Documentary’ at the American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs.

Celebrating its tenth year, Symbiosis Gathering Sept 17-20, will feature a slew of internationally renowned musical talent. Nicolas Jaar, Tipper, Damian Lazarus and The Ancient Moons, Cocorosie, Four Tet, edIT & Ooah present Crying Over Pros and Of Porcelain, and Shpongle will be joined by leaders of the underground Thugfucker, Justin Martin, The Acid, Bob Moses, Max Cooper, Blond:ish and Bass Music favorites The Polish Ambassador, Minnesota, G Jones, Kaytranada, GriZ, Truth, Random Rab and more.

Symbiosis Gathering offers its community an awe-inspiring portal into a creative utopia, a glimpse of a more united future. The 10 Year Re:Union will fuse a finely curated musical lineup split between 6 stages with otherworldly art installations, a 2700-acre lake to swim in, permaculture education programs, kids area, live performance, yoga, gourmet food, a speaker series and a slew of interactive activities and creative spaces to get lost and find yourself.
