The world-famous BPM Festival proudly announced Phase 1 of its 2017 lineup! BPM will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with a bang in Playa del Carmen, Mexico from January 6-15, 2017. With over 400 artists and 70 showcases promised for The BPM Festival 2017, this celebration is guaranteed to be monumental. Below is a list of the revealed artists and showcases.
Artists Joining the Lineup
Familiar faces who joined BPM in its inauguration in 2008 as well as new exciting names were announced in the Phase 1 Lineup. House and dance music icons will once again gather on the gorgeous sandy beaches of Playa Del Carmen. Artists included the recently revealed lineup include Art Department, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, Seth Troxler, Solomun, and The Martinez Brothers. Additionally, Hector, Lauren Lane, Richy Ahmed, wAFF, and hundreds more are going to perform the best of underground electronic music at this magical event.
Showcases Joining the Lineup
Some highly anticipated showcases also announced in the BPM Phase 1 lineup include artists who will showcase their newest and game-changing music. Romanian label [a:rpia:r] will make its debut at BPM, favorited Lee Burridge with All Day I Dream will perform, Ibiza underground icons ANTS, and a French supergroup Apollonia with a special extended set at Apollonia All Day Long are some of these exciting scheduled sets. Additionally, there will performances by Solomun, who will return with Diynamic in the Jungle, the Spanish party starters elrow, and Gorgon City and their new project Kingdom. Sian will showcase an interpration of classic modern techno with Octopus Recordings, Chus & Ceballos’ Iberican Stereo Productions, Mixmag cover star Christian Smith together with Boris for Tronic vs. Transmit, and Mexican icon Hector with his Vatos Locos party will also join BPM’s 10th anniversary celebration.
