The BPM Festival: Portugal is making its debut for its first European stop this week. Guests can look forward to some of the biggest names of underground dance music and rising stars on September 14th to the 17th. The festival released its final lineup with an addition of over 30 names. The BPM Festival: Portugal features multiple venues in various settings offering a diverse party experience. With over 170 artists and more than 20 showcases throughout the four day festival, music lovers will have the opportunity to listen to their favorite music along the beachside resort towns of Portimão and Lagoa, Portugal.
Globally known names such as Art Department, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones and Jackmaster to underground dance music pioneers like Carl Craig, Dubfire Richie Hawtin, and Victor Calderone are included in the full artist lineup. Festival goers will see a powerhouse contingent of underground DJs and producers visit Europe’s southwestern edge. The lineup doesn’t stop there. World top-tier acts such as Detlef, Hector, Lauren Lane, Nathan Barato, Nitin, Richy Ahmed, and many more have made its way up the ranks alongside the festival brand over the past decade.
Showcases
Over 20 globally recognized showcases will be featured throughout the festival. After four editions of its star-studded signature night party, guests will see YA’AH MUUL hosted by Deep House Amsterdam bring partying to the next level with a three stage takeover. In addition, its signature closing day and night parties will return, This Is The End and The BPM Festival Official Closing Party. German techno innovator, Paul Kalkbrenner is bringing his special live project Back To The Future to both The BPM Festival and Portugal for the first time. This projects puts a futuristic twist on his first experiences with electronic dance music. Event curator, Gia Sai hosted by Night&Day Magazine, Portugal’s Neopop Festival, and Adam Shelton and Subb-an’s One records will also being making their BPM showcase debut. Along with several in-house produced events including free to be announced showcases, The BPM Festival: Portugal will see the return of Akbal Music, All Day I Dream, ANTS, Deeperfect, Detroit Love, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, and Don’t Be Leftout with Visionquest hosted by XLR8R. Other showcases include, elrow, FORM Music, Kaluki, Nick Curly presents TRUST, Social Experiment, Numero 00, Paradise, Stereo Production, Vatos Locos, and Warung hosted by Ibiza Voice.

Tier 3 festival passes and select individual event tickets are available now here. Festival passes include entry to all official BPM events with line bypass, and guaranteed entry.
