Trey Songz released his new album Trigga Reloaded featuring “Slow Motion” and “About You.” The album is filled with sensual beats that make it nearly impossible not to press repeat. In promotion of the album release date, Trey Songz surprised us with a brand new EP called ‘Intermission,’ that features five original songs. Trey’s intention with Trigga Reloaded was to “give records like ‘Slow Motion’ and other records that I had no place for a home. I didn’t feel they belong on ‘Tremaine,’ and I wanted more people to hear Trigga,” he said. Tremaine will be a follow-up album, which he said will probably be released toward the end of the year. Trigga Reloaded is weaved with catchy ballads and lovey lyrics. “About You,” the first song on the album, is particularly attractive, taking lyrics from Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain,” and making them hip-hop.

Marina and the Diamonds released her new album FROOT on June23rd with accompanying dates for her Neon Nature Tour that kicks off July 8th at the Moon and Stars in Festival in Locarno, Switzerland. Froot is the third studio album by the Welsh-Greek singer, Marina Diamandis, known professionally as Marina and the Diamonds. The entire album is considerably reflective in comparison to her previous releases. Froot is not entirely dark. The album blends elements of dream pop, electronic, and rock music. Diamandis says “it’s almost celebrating being happy;” half the album centers around a relationship that had to end.  Diamandis wrote all twelve songs on her newest album and created the promotional strategy “Froot of the Month,” where one song from the album would be released each month until the release of the album, enabling Diamandis to “release the music I wanted to, as opposed to what might work commercially,” she tweeted.

GROUPLOVE released a new song No Drama Queen that is featured on the soundtrack of Paper Towns, set to hit theaters July 24th. The motion picture is inspired by the novel written by John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars.

Simple Plan released their ode to the weekend—specifically Saturday night, with their new song Saturday. The song is perfect for your drive home after a long week at work and the ultimate pump up during a pregame.

“Rumor Mill” BY Rudimental—You won’t be able to turn this off. Featuring Anne-Marie and Will Heard, Rudimental’s latest song hits the spot any time of day—during your morning commute to that last mile or rep during your workout. Another dancy, jammy, beat-tastic song.

“I Mean It” PJ Ft. Hit-Boy—“I Mean It,” is the first single off Walking Around Pools, PJ’s EP. She recently debuted her music video for “I Mean It,” featuring Hit-Boy. A primarily-solo endeavor, Walking Around Pools also features Gizzle. PJ’s melodic voice transitions smoothly throughout her rap verses and choruses.
