Twentieth Century Fox Film Announces Release Of “Home” By Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas

On October 20, 2017 Twentieth Century Fox announced the release of Home. It is an original song by Nick Jonas from the forthcoming animated feature Ferdinand.

Jonas stated, “I’ve always wanted to write an original song for a film. When they showed me the materials of the movie, Ferdinand, a story I was familiar with, I was thrilled.”

Ferdinand

Ferdinand is about a giant bull with a big heart. He is captured and taken from his home after being mistaken for a dangerous beast. Determined to return to his family, he takes a misfit team on a huge adventure. Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.

Jonas believes Home encompasses the film’s theme of acceptance. “I wrote this song with good friends of mine Justin Tranter and Nick Monson,” says Jonas. “And we wrote about feeling accepted and feeling loved, wherever that place is for you. For me it’s home, it’s my family, people I have closest to me; and the experiences we’ve shared.”
