FKP Scorpio, one of Europe’s biggest festival promoter behind the Bråvalla Festival and Getaway Rock Festival in Sweden, has in store a new festival set to take place in February 2015. Where’s the Music? Is the SXSW of Sweden and it aims to congregate music industry leaders, artists, and up-and-comers for a weekend of musical showcase and discussion. The conference festival in Sweden will feature more than 40 lectures and seminars and more than 150 acts. Where’s the Music? will occur on the 12th-14th Norrköping, Sweden.
Much like the ideals of SXSW, Where’s the Music? is a new way to describe what state the music business is currently at and where it is heading. Up-and-coming artists will have the opportunity to showcase their sounds and potential to a curious audience of industry professionals, readily available to support new projects that will excite music fans. Artists are set to present personal stories and experiences with and in the industry. This series of lectures and performances serve as a platform for networking, where national and international music industry leaders can exchange experiences and ideas, discover new artists, and find new projects to collaborate on.
Taking place in various public locations in the unique area called Industrilandskapet in the central of Norrköping, Where’s the Music? will feature live music on Swedish artists but there will also be room for international music.
